This book is full of literacy strategies that can be used with different grade levels and diverse students. I have used strategies from this book in a kindergarten and third grade classroom. Every strategy increased student discourse, provided scaffolding to support ELL students, and students created a tool that could be used to deepen their understanding. My favorite thing about these strategies is that they can be implemented in any subject area. I used them most often in science, social studies, and shared reading. Great graphic organizers/visuals to support students in learning new vocabulary! I highly recommend this book!
